Job Description:

As a key transformational lead, this senior leader will design a 2-3 year strategic roadmap to scale Change practices throughout TD Securities, driving the evolution of the TDS Strategic Change Planning, Funding, & Execution processes. This role will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a scalable product oriented, data driven, and Agile global delivery model for TD Securities. The role is responsible for designing new ways of working and new operating models aligned with TD Securities' growth strategy and risk appetite.

The role will work closely with senior executives to decide on suitable strategies to meet firm client-driven, regulatory, and operational effectiveness objectives. The role establishes strategy and frameworks for the development and implementation of Agile and Scaled Agile tools, resourcing/talent requirements, governance, effectiveness and control monitoring, and measurement of sustainable post-rollout adoption.

The role will be required to work with Enterprise stakeholders, peers, and control partners to establish or adapt enterprise-wide standards, policies, frameworks, tools, and processes to support scalable and predictable delivery specific to Capital Markets.

The role will serve as a strategic advisor and thought leader to executives and program sponsors, offering insights and establishing a transformation plan that will evolve:
  • TDS' approach to funding using a roadmap-based business case with client-centric OKRs & KPIs to confirm investment return and strategic alignment.
  • TDS' ability to deliver those roadmaps through simple & efficient processes and methodologies aligned with TD risk appetite and efficiency goals.
  • Redefine roles and responsibilities across multiple different functional areas to support the delivery, planning, funding, and risk management requirements needed to execute the strategic roadmaps.
  • The toolkit used along the life cycle of a wide range of initiatives and potential delivery vehicles.
  • Establish new capabilities and/or roles required to support TDS growth initiatives.
  • TDS' ability to use data as an effective tool to drive operational efficiencies in Change.
  • TDS' Governance and Control execution capabilities to ensure effectiveness and simplify, embed, and increase speed of execution.

The leader will operate a small team of high performers to manage the overall transformation and its streams over the next 2-3 years. They will be expected to work across peer groups TDBG wide to challenge status quo but ensure transparency in establishing models which support growth in Capital Markets.

Skills, Education & Experience
  • 15+ years in Capital Markets with a mix of functional expertise, large change execution and experience leading large transformations and teams within Capital Markets at a top tier Investment Bank.
  • Proven experience and subject matter expertise in strategy management and execution; agile frameworks and delivery models; keen understanding of business goals/priorities and optimizing resource utilization to maximize value and achieve business goals.
  • Working knowledge of industry tools for portfolio management, financial management, roadmap and strategy creation.
  • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, clients, and team members.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to empower individuals and teams, foster a positive work culture and drive alignment towards common objectives.
  • Confidence in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way.
  • Proven ability to acquire diverse talent with experience and capabilities along similar focus areas.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial industry.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering business outcomes.
