We are the AWS Service Catalog team. We make life easier for all kinds of AWS users. Developers, architects, data scientists, administrators, finance managers-you name it. We help organizations abstract away low-level AWS resources by defining products that represent the combinations of services they need to run their applications. Need a LAMP stack backend for your new web app? Done! Want a secure machine-learning pipeline for your experiment? Sure! Must set and maintain budgets for your projects? Of course! Time to tear down that legacy application? It just takes a couple of clicks!
There is no better place to learn or deepen your experience in building and operating hyperscale, ultra-secure, mission-critical products. Our work spans full-stack development, big-data analytics, machine learning, operational excellence, and more. We work in small, autonomous, cross-functional teams of Software Development Engineers, Front End Engineers, User Experience Designers, and Product Managers. Each of our teams builds and operates their features using their choice of agile methodologies and DevOps best practices (scrum, Kanban, pair-programming, mobbing, etc.). We interface regularly with key customers and Business Development to deepen our understanding of their use cases and get feedback on our iterative releases. Our customers include some of the biggest names in tech, sports, entertainment, healthcare, and finance.
About the team
The best of Home and Office work (WFH + WFO):
We work primarily from home, and enjoy in-person collaboration when we want to. Our teams are empowered to make their own arrangements to fit whatever they are working on that week or month. To make this flexibility possible, our team members live within commuting distance of a growing list of cities, including Vancouver/Toronto. We also consider candidates who prefer to work from other Canadian cities-just ask! We hold virtual team events at least biweekly. We get together in person at least every 2-3 months.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
