Job Description:

TD Securities Trade & Working Capital product team is seeking a director level Trade Product Development lead, to own product development and support product with digital enhancements to our existing and developing Trade products. The role bridges business needs, market dynamics, and technology platforms to deliver digital and scalable solutions covering receivables finance, payables finance, letters of credit, and guarantees. The Trade Product Development Director will collaborate closely with Product Leads and cross-functional teams to play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products digital journey and ongoing success. The role combines product strategy, market insight, and technical knowledge to deliver scalable, compliant, and competitive solutions across.

Key Responsibilities

• Partners with the Trade Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications; collaborate with technology teams to build platforms, digital features, and integrations.
• Supports the rollout of new systems by working closely with the Technology team, ensures that new systems align with product goals and enhance the client experience.
• Ensure high-quality integration with fintech ecosystems, trade platforms, and third-party service providers, supporting automation and digital onboarding
• Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience.
• Track product performance metrics (adoption, usage, revenue, risk exposure) and recommend refinements to optimize outcomes and profitability

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product development or technical product management within trade finance, working capital finance, or supply chain finance context.
• Deep knowledge of trade finance products such as letters of credit, receivables finance, payables finance and guarantees.
• Demonstrated experience working with technology teams on platform builds or enhancements in banking or fintech settings.
• Strong analytical skills, familiarity with data visualization and portfolio analytics tools, and ability to distill insights into product decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging cross-functional teams including risk, operations, sales, compliance, finance, and technology.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, fintech or trade finance certifications, or advanced degree preferred
