AWS Marketplace is changing the way AWS customers find, subscribe to, and use software, data, and services. Customers can easily find, subscribe to, and immediately start using thousands of products from hundreds of sellers. Customers depend on AWS Marketplace for use cases ranging from server monitoring software solutions deployed at Samsung to using third-party data at PG Ventures to prevent and mitigate mining collapses. AWS Marketplace has achieved billions in sales, and we're just getting started. AWS Marketplace is building a set of APIs that will allow builders, ISVs, and partners to create experiences that enable customers to discover, subscribe to, and use AWS Marketplace products everywhere.
The AWS Marketplace team is looking for Head of Product for the AWS Marketplace Foundational API organization. In this role, you'll build the public APIs that enable AWS Marketplace and experiences like it. You'll own a roadmap that influences how hundreds of thousands of customers experience AWS. Our goal is to make AWS Marketplace the easiest place for our buyers and sellers to transact, and you'll lead product strategy in achieving that goal.
Key job responsibilities
As the leader of this space you will own the definition, execution, and delivery of public APIs for AWS Marketplace. Your responsibilities will include engaging with new and existing buyers, sellers, channel partners, and internal AWS service teams. You'll build and lead a team in identifying product requirements, defining features, and working closely with development teams to deliver those features, including drafting our go-to-market strategies. Successful applicants will have experience defining products, leading cross-functional teams, and communicating to a large number of stakeholders. You will also need to learn about capabilities from internal teams and be able to communicate effectively to all levels within the company, both in writing and in meetings.
We're looking for someone that understands that billions in sales for AWS Marketplace is just the beginning, and that a strong set of APIs for ISVs and partners to build on will unlock the next stage of our growth. Come join us in working hard, having fun, and making history.
