Overview
In this exciting role, you will provide principal oversight for the development of the Claims and Rehabilitation Services (CRS) Division's Strategic Plan and assist the Director and Senior Manager, with coordination of the implementation of the plan.
The Manager, Divisional Planning and Coordination will facilitate prioritization sessions with the Claims senior leadership team and help guide the division's progress towards a more worker centered service delivery model.
The Manager leads and influences operational subject matter experts in closing the gaps between the division's current business capabilities and those identified by the senior leadership as being necessary to achieve the desired future state of service delivery. The Manager supports requirement gathering efforts for the business product ownership team.
The Manager will liaise with key internal shared service partners to ensure they are consulted with and kept informed of CRS planning and implementation activities, including the potential impact on their resources.

Salary: $116,186 - $141,166/annually

What you'll do
As the manager, divisional planning and coordination, you will:
- Create and deliver formal presentations, write reports, and other documents; facilitate workshops, guide discussions and generate consensus by articulating and summarizing clearly defined points of view
- Be the program manager for the CRS Priorities and Planning Program Core Team and facilitate sessions with the team to achieve the outcome goals
- Support the facilitation of departmental work plans in conjunction with the DPCSS planning analysts and coordinate with Business Engagement Services (BES) and other shared service partners on their implementation
- Ensure the establishment of appropriate key results and objectives at the initiative level, monitor the progress of initiatives throughout the division and make recommendations on when to pivot, conclude and add initiatives
- Support a culture of innovation within the division and promote and champion the service delivery initiatives throughout the organization with effective communication planning and collaboration with the communications team
- Manage and direct assigned staff in maintaining high levels of service and in achieving divisional priorities and objectives, assign work, set performance goals, provide motivation and feedback, and facilitate coaching and developmental planning to support staff in meeting expectations
- Create a supportive and healthy working environment within the department by providing support, ensuring effective communication, promoting teamwork, providing opportunities for staff involvement in planning and recognizing employees' contributions and achievements

Is this a good fit for you?
We're looking for someone who has:
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information, influence senior leaders, build consensus and work collaboratively.
- Working knowledge of strategic planning, program management, agile development, product management and data analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, the ability to build relationships and gain credibility to effectively lead cross functional teams.
- The ability to set priorities and adapt to changes in a quick, professional manner.
Your experience and educational background:
- A University Degree (Master's) in one or more related disciplines (i.e. Strategic Management, Business Management, Public Administration).
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of recent, related experience
