The Role:

A curious and passionate professional that loves applying machine learning and advanced techniques to complex business problems. You are focused on a specific area such as computer vision, NLP, or recommendation systems. You develop advanced models and feed data into models roughly implemented by data scientists. You are also familiar with cloud technology and responsible for ML-Ops (scaling an ML model and serving on production).

The Team:

Our empowering AI team develops customized Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions to help automate internal processes as well as provide deeper insight from eCommerce big data for our internal business users. Our AI team has many focuses, some examples are computer vision, NLP, & recommendation systems.

What you’ll do:

  • Understanding of advanced ML methodologies and knowing what models to be used in a specific situation.
  • Developing advanced ML/AI models.
  • Being familiar with ML libraries and platforms.
  • Evaluating the quality of the training data. and how to initiate an ML problem.
  • Evaluating the trained ML models.
  • Ability to interpret the result of ML models.
  • Scale an ML model on production (Cloud & Ops).

Who You Are:

  • 2+ years relevant experience in advanced analytics, data science, or machine learning engineering roles.
  • Familiar with all steps of industry-level machine learning methodologies.
  • Proficiency in various machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Proficient in software development (advanced topics, OOP, etc.) using Python. 
  • Strong SQL skills on large relational data warehouses.
  • Expertise in framing a data-driven solution for a business problem.
  • Experience in eCommerce and/or logistics is a big asset.
  • Ideally, you have experience with Docker and model deployment on K8s.
  • You are familiar with one of the cloud technologies ideally Azure.
