Experienced Senior Consultant - .NET for a 1-year fixed-term contract with over 10 years of expertise in supporting, enhancing, modernizing, and securing enterprise .NET applications. Proven success in application development, production support, incident management, vulnerability remediation, release coordination, authentication troubleshooting, and application modernization initiatives. Extensive experience working with mission-critical web applications built on .NET Framework, ASP.NET, MVC, Web Forms, WCF, IIS, Oracle, SQL Server, and Microsoft technologies. Recognized for delivering secure, reliable, and scalable solutions while collaborating effectively with business and technical stakeholders to drive operational excellence.

Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program. What will your typical day look like?
- Provide technical leadership and expertise for enterprise .NET applications, web services, and supporting infrastructure.
- Lead production support activities including incident resolution, root cause analysis, problem management, and troubleshooting.
- Assess legacy applications and develop modernization strategies and roadmaps.
- Coordinate application releases, deployments, patching activities, and post-release validation.
- Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments.
- Support authentication and authorization integrations, including SSO, SiteMinder, BCeID, SAML, and related identity management technologies.
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, Web API, and WCF.
- Lead security remediation efforts, including vulnerability assessments, dependency upgrades, and compliance initiatives.
- Analyze application logs, monitoring tools, and database performance metrics to address stability and performance concerns.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, infrastructure teams, vendors, and security teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support Oracle and SQL Server database activities, including troubleshooting, query optimization, and deployment validation.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, support documentation, architectural standards, and technical runbooks.
- Mentor developers and support team members on .NET technologies, application support best practices, and secure coding principles.
- Participate in operational health checks, outage management, disaster recovery planning, service continuity activities, and batch job monitoring.
- Provide technical estimates, impact assessments, and recommendations for enhancements, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.

- 10+ years of experience supporting and developing enterprise .NET applications.
- Extensive experience with C#, ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework, Web API, WCF Services, and Entity Framework.
- Strong experience with Oracle Database, SQL Server, database design, SQL optimization, and data integration.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS, AJAX, and Telerik Controls.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, JSON, XML, and enterprise system integrations.
- Strong knowledge of IIS administration, application deployment, environment configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, source control management, and release management processes.
- Experience supporting authentication and identity management solutions including SiteMinder, BCeID, SAML, and Single Sign-On technologies.
- Hands-on experience with framework upgrades, dependency management, third-party library remediation, and technology modernization initiatives.
- Experience with incident management, change management, problem management, and production support processes.
- Knowledge of application monitoring, logging, diagnostics, and performance tuning tools.
- Experience supporting multi-tier enterprise applications across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups and lead cross-functional initiatives.
