Have you ever been a PCP/EMT but have let your license expire? We are still interested in you! Or if this sounds like someone you know, please let them know!
North Slave Paramedics is looking for a PCP-level (1 school-year) medic to work in beautiful Northwest Territories, where we will fly you for free, and where your provicial license does not apply. You would however, need to be ready for some brush-up and on-the-job-training. We will obviously take provincially-licensed medics as well.
The job is the Tlicho All-Season Road project that is building a highway to Whati, NWT, a community within the land of the Tlicho people. The job will be on a 2x2-week schedule (flexible), and work out of a nice office. The medic will recieve $420 per day. Aside from emergency medical care, duties will include arrival screens, symtomatic patient processing, reporting to management by email, engaging with Territorial health care workers.
If you would like to get back into pre-hosptial medicine, or know someone who might, we would like to hear from you! Please email or call 438 355 6054 if you are interested.
