Compensation:
Salary range (in British Columbia): $179,700 - $247,100
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The salary range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.

What you can expect to do here:
- Serving as technical lead on high-profile and high-impact mine waste assignments
- Driving innovation in engineering design, environmental stewardship, and regulatory strategy
- Influencing the direction of WSP's mining practice through thought leadership and strategic planning
- Building strong client relationships and expanding market presence
- Providing oversight and review across multidisciplinary project teams
- Coaching senior and intermediate engineers, helping to shape career trajectories and technical depth
What you'll bring to WSP:
- 15+ years of experience in mining, tailings, and geotechnical engineering
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a relevant discipline
- P. Eng. registration and recognized expertise in the industry
- A track record of successful project delivery at scale
- Strong business acumen and experience in client strategy and portfolio development
- Thought leadership in sustainable mining practices, risk mitigation, or closure design
- Exceptional communication, decision-making, and mentorship capabilities
