Fully remote opportunity to lead a large-scale global legal governance project, partnering with stakeholders across APAC and Australia. Ideal for a detail-oriented PM with 3+ years experience (PMP/Scrum an asset) who thrives in complex environments and is open to some late afternoon/early evening work for timezone overlap.
This is a 1-year contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a large-scale global legal project. This role requires excellent project management skills, the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels across the global business, maintain project plans, and the capability to ensure timelines are met and stakeholders are kept informed.
$46-47.50/hr + 4% vacation pay.

What- The Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Client’s Legal Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a large-scale global legal project. This role requires excellent project management skills, the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels across the global business, maintain project plans, and the capability to ensure timelines are met and stakeholders are kept informed.
- Own and drive delivery of a single, large-scale global legal project, serving as the central point of contact.
- Develop and maintain a detailed, end‑to‑end project plan, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and clear ownership.
- Engage stakeholders early and proactively manage to align on scope, expectations, and success criteria, and keep them continuously informed as the project evolves.
- Coordinate with global legal, legal operations, and cross‑functional partners to ensure timely input, alignment, and decision‑making.
- Facilitate structured project meetings, document decisions, and ensure follow‑through on action items.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and change impacts early, and partner closely with project owners to mitigate issues before they affect timelines.
- Maintain clear, organized project documentation so information is accurate, current, and easily accessible.
- Support a global working model, including regular collaboration with teams in Australia and the ability to work later afternoons/evenings to ensure time zone overlap when needed.
- Model strong organization, accountability, and relationship‑building to create momentum and trust across a complex, global stakeholder group.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- PMP and or Scrum certification considered an asset.
- 3+ years of project management/industry work experience.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within a legal or corporate environment.
- Ability to manage project budgets.
- Strong leadership, sound judgement, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Aptitude to learn and manage change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to successfully manage teams with competing priorities within deadlines in a complex and rapidly evolving organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
