What will your typical day look like?

As part of our Regulatory, Quality, Risk & Reputation group in Deloitte's National Office, you will be working in one of these exciting teams:

In our Personal Independence team, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the firm with ensuring the financial independence of all our people across Canada. This role will give you an opportunity to gain in depth knowledge regarding certain Canadian and International Regulatory Rules and Deloitte policies with which our people must comply with. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assessing the completeness and accuracy of holdings, financial relationships and transactions entered into the Firm's electronic monitoring system - Global Independence Monitoring System (GIMS), learning about the investment marketplace in Canada and conducting research, summarizing findings, suggesting best practices to improve an individual's compliance, providing guidance on the requirements of the Broker Data Import Program (BDIP) and participating in project work for the benefit of the overall group.

In our Background Check, Conflict Check team, you will perform "Know Your Client" and conflict check procedures as part of our due diligence on client engagement acceptance and continuance. You will analyze and summarize your "Know Your Client" research findings and identify high risk indicators for consideration of our firm's reputational risk in association with these clients. You will also perform conflict assessments for proposed engagements, facilitate conflict clearance procedures and advise client service teams on how to manage potential conflicts.

In our Security Clearance team, you will assist the Alternate Company Security Officers, supporting our account teams, partners, and stakeholders. You will play a key role in the Government of Canada security clearance process, identifying stakeholders requiring clearances and coordinating the workflow activities to the team.

  • Enrolled in apost-secondaryprogram such as business, commerce, analytics or has completed risk management courses
  • Strong business acumen with solid analytical skills and conceptual thinking
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks based on relative importance and urgency
  • Ability to follow work programs with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Commitment to quality,ethicsand confidentiality
  • Bilingualism is an asset (French)
