As a Security Consultant, you will take on many exciting roles:
•Expert in your field: Architect, design, deploy and support LogRhythm and Splunk SIEM solutions
•Technology Savvy Problem-Solver: Resolves problems that are diversified and complex and frequently involve new issues that may not have been encountered before; conduct platform performance health checks, tuning, optimization and configure, install & integrate security technologies in customer environments
•Strong Verbal and Written Communicator: Present relevant security findings, recommendations and custom reports to internal and external stakeholders
•Analytical Thinker: Perform content and filter development to identify data, and security events of interest; make timely and logical decisions in analyzing diverse information streams, evaluating options and formulating recommendations in order to resolve problems
•Lifelong Learner: Committed to continuous personal development to maintain and enhance technical security knowledge
•Dedicated Team Player: Work collaboratively and cohesively in a team environment supporting fellow team members when required
*LI-DS1 Qualifications:Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Ability to assess and analyze business needs and transform them into workable business requirements
•Ability to demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and accountability on technical projects in a highly competitive environment
•Strong focus in information security as a recognised technical subject matter expert
•French language skills are considered an asset Required Professional Designation/Certification:
•Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics
•Industry recognized security designations such as SANS GIAC, ISC2 CISSP, and vendor certifications etc
•LogRhythm and Splunk vendor certifications
•Juniper (JNC*), HP ArcSight and/or Cisco CNA vendor certifications are a plus
•Currently possesses or is in a position to obtain Canadian Government Secret Security Clearance Required Experience:
•5+ years network systems administration experience including Linux and Windows
•2+ years with SIEM technologies
•2+ years' experience in IT security systems administration
