The Opportunity:

We're looking for a Senior Mechanical BIM Revit 3D Modeler to join our dynamic Mechanical and Electrical Group in the GTA and Southwestern Ontario.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of Mechanical HVAC and Plumbing & Fire Protection (P&FP) design, bringing complex Buildings projects to life through advanced 3D Revit modeling.

You'll also play a key role in driving innovation by supporting our BIM Manager with cutting-edge design automation tools-a major corporate initiative that's transforming how we deliver projects.

What you can expect to do here:
  • Design and 3D modeling of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Systems in general
  • Assist engineers with design and modeling of duct work, hydronic heating and cooling piping
  • Prepare installation details
  • Work individually or part of the team to develop the drawings from setup to submission
  • Design and 3D modeling of Plumbing Systems including domestic water, Sanitary and Storm Systems
  • Design and 3D modeling of Natural Gas piping for buildings and site services
  • Assist the mechanical engineers and designers with system calculations
  • Support and mentoring of Mechanical Revit team
  • Support corporate BIM standards, policies and procedures
  • Assist in developing cutting edge tools to support BIM team in efficient workflows


What you'll bring to WSP:
  • Superior knowledge of Revit 3D Modeling, ACC, BIM360, Navisworks, AutoCAD and other BIM support too
  • Knowledge of Duct Sizing (working with ductulator), and/or Pipe Sizing (SAN, STM, PW, NG) is considered an asset
  • Familiar with Navisworks and Dynamo script writing are desirable
  • Familiar with Autodesk AutoCAD, Bently MicroStation and Civil 3D software
  • Obtaining a valid Autodesk Revit Certification is a plus
  • Previous experience supporting national or regional BIM standards is an asset
  • Passion for DDT (Digital Delivery Technologies) with ability to promote these technologies and practices to increase user effectiveness
