The Senior Group Manager Cash Management Services (CMS) and Commercial Deposits Financial and Portfolio Management, oversees a portfolio of cash management and deposit products, focused primarily on Commercial Banking clients. Key objectives for the role include: developing strategies to aggressively grow deposit and CMS market share, optimizing revenue, identifying costs reduction opportunities, refreshing pricing, monitoring and responding to the competitive environment. The role will liaise with key partners in Commercial Banking, Finance, Treasury and Balance Sheet Management, Segment and Sales Strategy, BBAI2 (Business Banking Data Analytics and Insights), Product Factory, Billing as well as Direct Trade (TD Securities). The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in Business Banking's mission to aggressively grow deposits and recapture market share.

Key Accountabilities
- Own the full P&L for the Commercial Deposit and CMS product line including revenue targets, margin management and cost analysis.
- Prepare financial forecasts, monitor financial performance, and recommend strategies as needed to achieve financial targets.
- Refresh cost analysis of CMS and Commercial deposit product portfolio.
- Collaborate with Billing partner to develop pricing tools and sales dashboards to empower Commercial Banking sales colleagues, streamlining the effort required to respond to RFPs and prepare client reviews and recommendations.
- Lead account management strategies that support overall portfolio growth and effective risk management including acquisition, cross-sell and attrition initiatives focused on Commercial Deposits and CMS products.
- Develop and execute on educational roadshows to educate sales colleagues on deposit pricing dynamics and energize them on deposit gathering.
- Oversee pricing exceptions for Commercial Operating, Savings, Term and GIC products.
- Review and provide input into business cases for product enhancements and drive initiatives that maximize profitability. Recommend pricing strategy for new products and features developed by Product Factory.
- Monitor competitive environment, sharing insights with sales colleagues and leveraging insights to adjust pricing strategies
- Lead and enhance relationships with key stakeholders including: Treasury and Balance Sheet Management (TBSM), Finance, Product Factory, Commercial Banking Centres etc.
- Coach and mentor a team of direct reports, helping to support their learning and professional development.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for your business area/function and the bank, both internally and externally.
Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience including a proven track record in P&L management and pricing.
- Experience in Commercial Banking or previous work with a sales channel.
- Strong people leader with ability to build relationships as well as negotiate, impact and influence others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in communicating complex concepts in clear, plain language.
- Well organized, able to manage multiple priorities
- High energy; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
