Our technology has been used in projects such as the PlayStation 5 "End of the World" ad, The Expanse, Adrift, NextGen, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Wonder Woman, Independence Day 2, Aquaman, Batman vs Superman, and many more. The customer success team is on the ground helping customers deliver these amazing experiences.

Our team is distributed across Seattle, Sunnyvale, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Vancouver, Winnipeg and highly value our work/life harmony.

Key job responsibilities
We expect that what you'll help us build will be resilient to failure, load pressure, and security vulnerabilities. Those solutions will be mindful of costs and will occasionally require working with other senior engineers and navigating conflicting requirements. Being able to understand requirements at base principles and work through challenging problems at a team level with data and anecdotes is a requirement. Others will look to you to navigate similar situations and your work and interactions will set an example for others. You will be responsible for owning the technical complexities of these systems at the team level and you'll work to minimize complexity and break issues down into smaller projects reasonable to implement for more junior staff. You will help troubleshoot and/or eliminate complex problems as they arise

A day in the life
As a Senior SysDE you'll be a driver of the business and technology direction of our team and influence management decisions and the work done outside our immediate team. You'll also be planning, building, teaching, and researching our current and future technologies. You'll make sure that what's built adheres to high standards for testability, maintainability, operational excellence, and best practices. For us in the Rendering team, projects center around raising our security posture, building out the infrastructure for new products, and inventing more efficient ways for the engineering team to deliver software at a faster pace. For the Rendering team you'll be a part of, you will have close contact with our customers and make sure the team is delivering the right things for them.
