Senior Water Damage Technician Lower Mainland, BC Temp to Perm or Permanent Placement Available 5 Positions Available $25 to $35 per hour depending on experience.
Our Client is looking for an experienced Senior Water Damage Technician Maybe you are already at this level or maybe you want to take your career to the next level! This position is primarily responsible for overseeing their team and performing emergency restoration services as required in the territory assigned to them. You will provide prompt and professional service to all customers and clients while maintaining a high standard of customer service and quality workmanship. You will be expected to foster good working relationships at all levels within the organization, meet the company standards for attendance and punctuality and maintain a high level of personal grooming and appearance. Our client will provide extensive training which includes hands-on experiences, in-house industry related courses as well as industry specific training from a registered training facility. Duties and Responsibilities • Demonstrate professional knowledge of all restoration industry tools, equipment, and services • Assess and determine customer requirements and communicate them to the Water Damage Coordinator and/or Project Manager • Perform or advise Project Manager of appropriate steps required to mitigate further damage in the home and/or business • Provide customers with the necessary safety information and instructions concerning all equipment left at the site and areas extracted/cleaned • To consistently submit accurate and legible paperwork and required supporting documents. Detailed documentation is critical to the claim process. A high level of attention to detail is mandatory. • Operate a company vehicle using good judgment, abiding by all traffic laws and regulations • Attend all division meetings and training sessions as required • Available for on-call emergency services, including weekends and evenings • Meet company standards for attendance and punctuality Requirements • Clean criminal record • Valid BC driver's license with a clean Abstract • At least two years experience as a Water Damage Technician • Physically capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment etc. up and down stairs. • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable work environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work well alone as well as in a team environment • IICRC WRT certification • 2 to 3 Years water damage experience DestinationeTemp - A Division of Destinationone Consulting Inc specializing in Temp, and Temp to Perm Staffing Solutions.
