Key job responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Software Development Manager to lead a team to evolve Amazon hiring experience. You will own a roadmap and will have significant influence on our strategy by looking ahead 6m-3y horizon. The systems are complex, Offer experience processes are nuanced, and the existing team of engineers and product managers are looking for a strong tech leader and an inspiring people manager.

A day in the life
You day may be dedicated to solving a peculiar problem: minimizing a number of distinct ways Amazon delivers expedited Offer experience while maintaining and improving flexibility for both candidates and recruiting teams.

About the team
The team owns the full experience from the moment a candidate is set to receive and offer until the moment they have a start date. We are continuously experimenting, measuring, and learning because Amazon candidates deserve an experience that is respectful, straightforward, and frustration-free. We combine product development, technology investments, UX research, scientific analysis, big data analytics, and process optimization.


  • 7+ years of experience working directly within engineering teams
  • Experience partnering with product OR program management teams
  • 3+ years of people management experience, managing engineers
  • 3+ years of experience architecting and designing (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems


  • Working knowledge of AWS ecosystem
  • Experience in infrastructure/application modernization
