As a Sr. Technical Product Manager for the Brand Stores Shopper Experience, you will: (1) Work with customers and engineering to define product strategy, features, roadmap priority, and the customer experience for new and existing Brand Store customer-facing features; (2) Drive product discussions with customers, engineers, and internal stakeholders (3) Develop an ambitious product roadmap that will deliver step changes in customer value and; (4) Simplify solutions and launch/ test/ iterate/ learn quickly. Our products and initiatives are highly strategic, and visible across Amazon's senior leadership. The role requires someone with a strong understanding of, and desire to deeply learn customer needs, experience building consumer facing products from the ground up, ability to ask the right technical questions and identify risks in technology design choices, and the ability to build trusted relationships with design and engineering teams. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, highly goal-oriented, and with a track record of delivering solid results.

This position can be based in Vancouver, Santa Monica, New York City, or Toronto.

About the team
The value that Stores provides to customers is the ability to browse and discover new and bestselling products curated by their favorite brands, while aiding with discovery of new brands. The Amazon Stores program is becoming increasingly important and is at a strategic intersection between advertising and retail. We provide a compelling destination for brand advertising campaigns, and also enable stores to be organically discovered through the Amazon shopping journey. Our small team is a startup-minded, energetic and passionate group of engineers and PMs who care deeply about building amazing products that shoppers as well as brands love. We are lean, curious about new technologies, collaborative, agile, and very customer-centric.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience with end to end product delivery
• 5+ years of technical product management, program management or engineering experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
• Experience balancing short-term and long-term priorities.
• Experience proposing solutions and explanations in writing, using data to drive and rationalize decisions where possible.
• Ability to work across technical and non-technical teams to deliver results.
