Job Description:

Enterprise Process & Automation (EP&A) delivers process transformation across TD by redesigning processes and embedding intelligent automation with speed and scale to reduce cost, strengthen controls, and improve client and colleague experiences. We operate as an integrated process and automation team dedicated to segments and corporate functions, focusing on business problems within or across segments. Our services span process and automation discovery, future-state design, and performance excellence, enabling partners to solve problems efficiently while improving adherence to policies and procedures. Underpinned by a disciplined value-management framework, EP&A provides consistent, transparent tracking of outcomes and delivers rapid, scalable, and sustainable value.

Role Overview

The Senior Manager will be supporting the enterprise-level Process Engineering, Lean Six Sigma, and Intelligent Automation (IA) strategy. This role strengthens alignment between business priorities and enterprise capabilities-ensuring that processes are optimized, standardized, and enabled by intelligent automation where it drives the greatest value.

You will provide strategic partnership, delivery oversight, and leadership across the process and IA communities to advance TD's enterprise modernization agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership & Relationship Management
  • Serve as the senior relationship manager for enterprise process engineering and Intelligent Automation needs across assigned business segments.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders to identify opportunities, shape roadmaps, and integrate process excellence and IA into business strategies.
  • Translate business priorities into actionable portfolios, balancing process improvements, operational efficiency, and intelligent automation outcomes.

Process Engineering & Lean Six Sigma Leadership
  • Guide process reviews, diagnostics, and redesign efforts using Lean Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., DMAIC, value-stream mapping, root cause analysis).
  • Support standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement of end-to-end processes.
  • Partner with process engineering teams to ensure automation is applied to optimized, future-state processes.

Intelligent Automation Delivery Oversight
  • Oversee intake, assessment, and prioritization of Intelligent Automation opportunities, ensuring alignment to enterprise standards, governance, and value realization.
  • Provide leadership across solution design, process readiness, testing, deployment, and adoption stages.
  • Anticipate delivery risks and proactively remove barriers to ensure timely and high-quality execution.

Enterprise Centre of Excellence Contributions
  • Contribute to governance, best practices, frameworks, and methodologies for Intelligent Automation and enterprise process transformation.
  • Support development of role profiles, capabilities, and learning pathways across the IA and process engineering communities.
  • Promote inclusive leadership, psychological safety, and a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.

Reusable Solutions & Asset Management
  • Champion the creation, lifecycle management, and reuse of IA assets and process accelerators.
  • Drive awareness and adoption of enterprise solutions to support scalability and consistency.

People Leadership
  • Coach and develop team members with a focus on strengths-based leadership, technical maturation, and process discipline.
  • Lead resource planning, alignment to team OKRs, and performance development.
  • Support recognition practices aligned to individual preferences and team culture.

Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in Process Engineering, Lean Six Sigma, Intelligent Automation, digital transformation, or technology enablement.
  • Strong relationship-management and stakeholder-influencing skills at senior levels.
  • Deep understanding of IA technologies (e.g., UiPath, intelligent document processing, orchestration tools) and process improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, support talent development, and drive enterprise outcomes.
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusive leadership, coaching, and psychological safety.
